Permanent tape marking application

Throughout the State of Virginia, permanent pavement marking tape designated Type B, Class VI by the VDOT is used on interstate and high-volume primary asphalt roadways

This same Type material is also used on most concrete bridge decks except colored tape is embraced with a black contrast material for enhanced visibility.  Application of permanent tape on asphalt requires our operations to readily perform in conjunction with paving operations inlaying material into hot asphalt with the last roller pass. Application on concrete is surface applied-typically-requiring a concrete curing period allowance or, removal of curing compound.
